Britain to re-introduce visa for Malaysians

It was revealed in the papers recently that the British Government may consider re-introducing visa for Malaysians as a result of the increase in its abuse by some unscrupulous Malaysians over-staying there and working without proper documents.

Well, I must admit that I'm disappointed too with this soon-to-be made ruling (unless the Malaysian Government intervenes which they're trying already)
because I've been there many times in the past and loved it.

But consider this: don't the Malaysian take action on illegals in their own backyard by arresting, detentioning and deporting these illegals? Do they impose visas?

Britain imposed visa on Malaysian in the past before relaxing it a bit. But when some of them began abusing this privilege, the British had to do something, right?

So, although most Malaysians are innocent the fact remains that others are not and the British has had enough, I suppose.

So, why does the Malaysian Goverment need to interfere in the affairs of their UK counterparts? Didn't they warn Washington recently 'not to meddle' in Malaysian internal affairs and policies?

If the British need to re-impose visa, why should Malaysia complain and whine?
Are they helping the British take stern action agains their their citizens who abused the visa apps?

I don't think so.
